2021 Gibson Custom Jerry Cantrell Murphy Lab ‘Wino’ Les Paul – Wine Red

Jerry Cantrell signature ‘Wino’ Les Paul – Number 94 of only 100 made, hand-signed by the Alice in Chains star himself, and featuring a Piezo Powerbridge system for exceptional versatility.

It is in factory condition and aged by Gibsons Murphy Lab team – the attention to detail is truly astonishing (lots of lacquer checking when it catches the light) and it plays like a dream thanks to a pro-setup and a low action.

Made to replicate Cantrell’s iconic Les Paul Custom, this guitar has many personal touches — including a Murphy Lab aged “Wino” Wine Red finish, a 9-hole weight-relieved Mahogany body, custom Cantrell neck profile, aged gold hardware, and powerful 490R/498T pickups. Other features include an Ebony fingerboard with custom inlays, medium jumbo frets and Grover tuners.

While Alice In Chains are renowned for their heavy, melancholy tracks — the band has a softer side too, with their legendary EPs “Sap” and “Jar Of Flies” fuelled with vibrant-sounding acoustic guitars. The Fishman Powerbridge piezo gives this Les Paul Custom the versatility to cover the full Alice In Chains catalogue, which produces convincing acoustic tones.
