2013 Fender Taxman Telecaster – 3 Colour Sunburst

Limited-edition road worn Telecaster for Taku ‘Taxman’ Funayama (guitarist with the Bawdies). It was limited to 165 pieces and designed for the Japanese market.

It has a factory fitted with Seymour Duncan 59 SH-1N in the neck position and a Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster bridge pickup – perfect for Keith Richards tones. The wiring loom has been upgraded which has transformed the tone of this guitar, and now features premium parts like a Switchcraft jack, cloth wire, CTS 500k pots and a capacitor to take the bridge pickup down from 500k to 250k –  for a cleaner (less muddy) Humbucker tone, and finally treble bleed.This is now the best Taxman telecaster you will find from a tone perspective.
