1981 Fender American International Series Stratocaster – Maui Blue

The international series was a run of special ‘country-inspired’ strats back in the early 80s. This example is finished in Maui blue.

It’s in very good condition for its age, with some wear and blemishes as you’d expect on a 44 year old vintage guitar. The finish is starting to age and change colour giving it a vintage vibe and there’s some light wear to the frets which is cosmetic only, and not effecting playability. Everything works as it should without issue.

It features an Ash body combined with a comfortable Maple neck (medium to chunky profile but certainly not as baseball bat) Maple neck, iconic 70’s larger headstock, 3-bolt with microtilt and bullet truss rod.
