2010 Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Reissue – Joe Bonamassa Signed – Heritage Cherry Sunburst

Stunning Custom Shop Historic Les Paul from the 50th anniversary year of the iconic 1960 model. The back of the headstock is signed by the legendary Joe Bonamassa himself (provenance from Gibson will be provided to the buyer) but that could be removed if required.

It is finished in Heritage Cherry Sunburst and has a beautiful highly figured flame-top. We have also photographed it in natural light as this portrays the flame more accurately than the studio images which tend to ‘flatten’ the flame.

It’s in good condition for age with various dings/blemishes, many of which are not visible unless closely inspecting and bouncing light off the surface, as we have done in our photos to exaggerate them. It’s ageing beautifully, with lots of lovely lacquer checking.

This R0 features all of the historically accurate specs, including the Mahogany body with Maple cap, Mahogany neck with a comfortable moderately chunky early 1960 profile, long neck tenon, and vintage style deluxe tuners. The Burstbucker pickups provide exceptional Les Paul tone, and there’s twin volume and tone controls for versatility. It’s lightweight at only 8lb 10oz.
